Szmoku, here's a real draggy for you now. I hope you like him. His name is Jeff and he likes bubbles. :3
I used 's suggestion and used a gel pen on several portions of this fellow.
I know the hand is impossibly twisted. Also, the hair and eye look better on the paper compared to the scan *sigh*
Done with watercolors and gel pen on a lana-blahblah-something board. You can easily tell that it's low weight and rather rough, I assume. Took about three days of work... spaced out over three weeks of final projects and exams.
DOWNLOAD for full res image (can see a few gory details, but still not as good as the real thing... sorry D: ).
What I can't stand is how easy it is to see the bubbles when you look at the real life version, but on this LCD screen (and a good one, at that!) I can't hardly tell where it is in front of Jeff's face.
Always happy to find more dragons that like bubbles.
That hair looks really neat. And it is sad how scanners eat art.

If I can't get it to the person I want to, I guess I could send it to you instead... Then you can be all "Lookit! Christmas is better with furry draggiez and baby Jesus blowin' bubblez together"
*tugs on an imaginary chain above his head, and acting like that was the best interpretation ever*
Coffee is worse than beer... it's all the arrogance without the lack of coordination to build counter-humility.
Bubbles are probably going to be on my flag when the day comes that I get to make my own nation. That, and cookie dough.

Oh man, I need to write a constitution. I'm sure it's spawn a few conspiracy theories... and most of them would become cult classics.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
