This is a continuation of my little "start with humility" paintings... featuring the guy with the plow... which is, grinding down. A lot. I wonder what happens when his plow is all ground into dust...
Dedicated to my Grandfather. God rest his soul. He was still the sweetest saint even on his death bed.

I have to admit that with some of your pieces, I'm not clear on what's going on - while this one is not an exception to that, it looks a lot more clean and sharp than some of your other pieces. It looks like you spent a lot of time on it!
I didn't know you liked stunt kites! It's fantastic the way the picture is so dark that the sparks show brightly.

Your concepts are way beyond what my poor programmer mind can deal with. I see all these details and suspect they mean something, but I don't know what.
Details I like, but I don't know why: * dual line stunt kite lines and handles * sparks from the plow * the highlight glint on the bottom of the blue thing * ghost parafoil from beyond * blue beam from the swirly blue thing
I feel a bit bad that I don't get the allegories, but still, it is pretty.
I really like the way the light plays off the face and hands....really illuminates the features. The blue vortex in the back has such a crazy amount of detail in it....i love it

I dunno if you're still going to be around penn state, but the astrophys art contest it's entered into will have it on display for a little while. I myself haven't seen the printout. I imagine it'll look neater in ink.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

I can't put my finger on what exactly it is about it, but it's just... wow, I can't stop staring at it.
